CSS editor spacing problems

Hi this may sound trivial but it's winding me up something chronic. When writing css, the autocomplete puts a space in between the brackets - this means when I hit enter after typing the last css rule I'm put on a new line followed by a space then the closing bracket. If I press right arrow twice then return, the new line is indented by a single space. This continues to happen until eventually my css rules are stair-stepping halfway across the page. The alternative is pressing delete then right arrow then return after writing my last rule.

Is this an issue with my tab settings? Is there a way to either adjust the css bracket autocomplete to {} rather than { } or make my return key take me to the start of the line? I don't care about indents when I'm writing css.

Many thanks!

I don't know of a way that you can change that. Quite honestly it doesn't bother me, but of course we all have our own preferences, I would ask Scott or one of the team, see if it's designed in there, but I haven't come across it.

I've got around it by turning off code completion, not the end of the world I guess!

No but coding stuff is how comfortable we feel with a product. I've tried loads and CC is the best for me, Yeah it's not perfect but it suits me. The only other one that did was Evrsoft.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
