I have been struggling with the Coffee Cup Editor ever since I started using it. I just don't have time to go test other systems, and I've attempted by searches to find answers to no avail. Maybe you can give me the answers so I'll know what I'll have to do. I need much more efficiency.

I can't find a way to
-display the dates of all the files in a folder
-sync files
-alert when another person is working on a file

-hide (collapse) lines of code
-highlight whole code elements (divs)

-display the dates of all the files in a folder

Use the My Computer Tab
-sync files

There is no file sync options. You upload the files you want through the File Menu.
-alert when another person is working on a file

That feature is not something you would find in an Editor as the Editor does not offer a collaboration feature.
-hide (collapse) lines of code

That is not an option in the Editor.
-highlight whole code elements (divs
That is not an option in the Editor.

The file dates I need to see are those on the site, not the local files. So I'll be able to determine which are newer than local.
Ok on the rest.

Use DirectFTP or the FreeFTP that CoffeeCup offers. It will show you that information and let view/edit/upload files to your server. Yes, I said edit. The paid version of DirectFTP has a cool feature that lets you open almost any file on your server and edit it within DFTP and then upload the changes and save them locally. It's pretty slick.
