just set the footer width to none at the smallest breakpoint and then check it stays at none all the way up to the last one,

That is the problem, (at least one of several), how do I set the width to none?
Thanks your help.

Select the row that holds your footer, go to the design pane, and scroll down (or open if its colsed) the dimensions section.

There you will see max-width tick the box that says NONE and BOOOOM there it is full width.

In the same dimensions section at the bottom are two tick boxes for left & right margin set to auto, to center your main content, select the column/container/subgrid whatever you have used to hold the main content, tick both of those boxes for left and right auto and hey presto content centered (unless you have used flexing)

Hope that helps

I only just now saw your reply. Thanks I will check this out. Meantime I have gone live with my site because it's the upgrade from VSD and I needed to get the thing up there. Meantime, I believe it looks a bit better than when you last saw it. There a number of items needing further work but the essentials for the book are there. I must say I have enjoyed getting to know RFF.
Getting a full width for some images is still one of my problems but with your new info I may be OK

Thanks Again as always!:)

Showing an image in the forum seems to me as follows -
(a) One clicks on the second-from-left button just above where one types the post. That inserts into the text an opening and closing URL tag.
(b) Between those tags one inserts the URL of the image, which needs to be online somewhere.

For example, the butterfly image is at http://www.coffeecup.com/images/users/2699991. Putting that between the two tags gives this:
http://www.coffeecup.com/images/users/2699991

Thanks Wayanjay!

Amost complete now so keep checking. A few links still under construction but overall RFF is way better than VSD and RSD. One little glitch I came across is occassionaly when making a change the viewport does not return to the white scroll arrow nor can you see the breakpoints. I have to save, exit and reload the program.

Good Morning From Sunny Bali (although it's bucketing down at the moment)

Yes the site is coming on well done , there are just a couple of things I would like to suggest,,,, more to do with visual aesthetics, rather than tekky stuff, but first,,,
I am not sure exactly what you mean about making changes & the viewport not returning etc, do you mean when you are editing using the new "Mode" function? if so make sure that you go back to default mode after saving your changes, (make sure it's not "Disable All Breakpoints.

Not sure if you noticed this, but the image HA_Logo_NEW_white.png is 11.2MB which is insanely large. ;)

If you resize that image down to the dimensions you are actually showing it at, the file size can be reduced to under 10k.
