I have created menu buttons or just simply text with a white reverse overtop of a solid colored box. When I preview the image it looks fine, but when I print the page to a printer the text that was white prints in grey.

I have tried editing the code to change color values, font types, I simply cannot get the white text to appear white.

That sounds like an issue with your printer. What program are you printing it from?

I do not believe the issue is the printer since I have tried the output on a colour laser, colour inkjet, and BW laser.

When I print even a light color such as light orange or yellow the color then prints a grey orange or grey mix of yellow. This only seems to be an issue when the reverse color is overtop a solid background. There seems to be an issue with knocking out the background color effectively.

Yet the colors previewed in explorer look correct.
