Hi, I am new to VSD and downloaded the trial version. Everything has been working great for a couple of days then all of a sudden i am getting an appcrash. I tried running as an administrator and also re-downloaded the software twice. It happens on almost any action i take such as link, object, fill etc. no patttern to it Any suggestions?

Hi Scott, my web site URL is http://members.cox.net/gbarone1/index.html it is not occurring when i am on the web site, only in VSD. The site is a work in progress (1 day) as i learn about the capabilities in VSD. I am using the trial version which i re-downloaded a couple of times thinking it was a corrrupt program.

I am running VSD ver 6.0 build 6. Vista SP2, not hard to recreate on my PC, happens all the time when i select an object then use the fill, link etc functions.

I tried recreating the problem with a new site and it does not happen.

With my current site I tried running as an administrator and the problem occured. I also tried running as an admin and compatablity mode for XP2, same problem.

Maybe my VNU file is corrupt? Other thing i noticed is that when i run the program, Vista's UAC steps in every time, is this normal?

Any help would be appreciated as i am starting to like to get comfortable with VSD and will probably purchase it if I can get by this issue. It was running fine for more than a day. I have not tried recreating the problem on another machine.

As a follow up to my reply, i recreated the site and uploaded it to the URL listed above thus overlaying the one i had problems with. Since i started over, the problem has not reoccured so i am assuming it was a corrupted file??
