My site http://www.pierviewhotel.net/index.html
1) There are gif pics that should show the background that show a white box around them. Additionaly the 'Amenities' page show the .gif broken up in areas....How can I fix this?

2) The photo gallery, created with CoffeeCup, shows without pictures. How can I fix this? (I've added all the files in the proper gallery theme folder and the .html, shock flash and .xml Is it because I've saved this as a theme and not something else?)

Help is greatly appriciated!
~Kati

p.s. VSD 5.9.4

Well an update. I added flash to the HTML pierviewgallery in VSD. The preview of page shows correct. But after reuploading the whole site. I still can't view the pictures or gif graphic I added in CoffeeCup Photo Gallery

If anyone has any insite please give.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kati,
1) please make sure your swf, xml, html (if used) are all located together with the pierview_files folder, but not inside it.
2) I would try doing a resync under the settings tab and see if this clears your image problem. When you made your Photo Gallery did you upload it through that program or through Visual Site Designer? Thanks

Ok helps to read lol
adding Photo Gallery to VSd there are 2 ways of doing this one way you can preview your gallery the other way you can't unless you use the add files wizard, The great CC developers made it easy as hec for us to do this. Using the flash tool( one with the lightning bolt) select the xml file that the Gallery makes, VSD does the rest adds all the files needed to make the gallery work. then you just save, select resync and it uploads, depending on the amount of images you have will determine how long it takes to upload.
The other way is uploading through the Photo Gallery itself. Just copy the code on the right hand side and paste into the page you wish in VSD using the html tool. then just upload all the files from the Gallery program , then again save in VSD and choose upload. I hope this helps some.

Perfect. Thanks for that. I used the 'flash tool', resynced the pages. The gallery looks great now.

:):):)

I was doing it the second/other way first, had all the files like you said they should be and the error occured.

Now to complete the page I need to fix the .gif swrial. It should have a transparent background. Any ideas Bruce?

Ok so I missed the first half.Sorry Kati.
I went alittle further and checked your images for transparency. It still had a white background to it, so I tried using Photoshop for the transparency and got this:

you can download these 2 images and just place them (without renaming them) into your files folder to replace what's there.
