Ok now I want to use the school template (I finally found)...how do I get rid of the chosen color. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall VSD in order to get rid of this color. ..It is messing up my template and the template wont load correctly. Anyone know how to get rid of this?

Click the Page button on the horiz. toolbar. You'll then see the Object window change to 'Page window, and when you click the tab Background, you have the colours and will see how to change them.

which Template are you using? Are you using a VSD Template?

To change the button colour, click on a button, click Fill from the horizontal Tool bar. Then you see that little window change its name to 'Fill window'. You will see the wee button in the current colour. Click on it and choose the colour you want.
