Visual Site Designer: I added some pages and changed around some pieces on the front page. The other pages saved, but the front page is still showing up as though I never changed it in the actual files. In VSD, it looks fine, but not in the actual 'default' and 'index' files on the harddrive.

VSD has a new version out 5.9.4, have you got the lastest and greatest version? To find out go to help>about> and in the upper right corner it should give you the version number. VSD now only produces an index.html, nomore index.htm, index.html, default.htm, default,html which makes it work in all browsers. Your problem maybe just a matter of clearing your cache files folder/ temp internet folder. please give these a try and let us know if this has helped. Thanks.

Also, are you uploading using the built-in upload or your own FTP application? In the more recent updates, it seems you need to delete that project_website folder and save your .vnu again to create a new export folder so the files will update properly. It also seems that only the index.html file is created/updated, so the default.htm/html & index.htm files will remain outdated (won't be re-created after deleting the mentioned folder).

Also, you may wish/need to delete your other index/default files online as your web host server may load the other files by default rather than the updated index.html.
