VSD 7 or Wait??

Can I get a quick consensus from those who have upgraded to the newest build of VSD 7. Do you feel the issues have been worked out well enough to warrant upgrading now? I have several websites I manage with VSD and don't have the luxury of time to troubleshoot major problems. I've read the posting on VSD and that was the major reason I decided to wait. Should we upgrade or wait a bit more?

Thanks,

Go for it! I upgraded 4 sites with flash, photo galleries, audio downloads, news flashes etc and the only problem i ran into was a missing picture which was my fault. Very smooth upgrade. The upgrade also saves a backup of your site from VSD 6... Just in case

There will be a new update of VSD next week with a couple of fixes, so maybe if you stick it out until then...

I've tried to add an update to my website after upgrading to VSD 7 and it won't upload. Never had that problem with VSD 6. Upload test says OK, preview indicates the changes were made, but website doesn't reflect my updates. Got a support ticket open, but no solution yet. I've been trying for three days now to add a modified picture and one paragraph--nada.

Under your FTP settings, what do you have for your remote folder path?

Good question, Scott, because I have nothing in the remote folder path. The rookie in me is asking...what's that? I do know that I had to re-enter my FTP info after the upgrade.

Thanks--

Ah hah! Success! Thanks Scott! I entered public_html into the FTP remote folder path and all upload just fine. So--William Cooper, don't pay attention to my previous post which was based on stupid user error. Version 7 works just fine now.

Thanks--

Thanks guys. I will probably wait until the next build comes out and upgrade at that point. I am a big supporter of VSD and love the product. Just wanted to save myself some headache time.

Thanks again!
