vietnamese font problems
Hello everyone
I am trying to fill my text box with vietnamese text. I use vpskey 4.3 to create vietnamese characters (I'm guessing this is making unicode characters) in microsoft notepad. Then I try to copy and paste into a textbox with visual site designer. It's not working. Here is an example of what I want " L? m?t ?ou." Can anyone help me with this?
Here is the site for vpskey if that helps http://www.vps.org/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=69
Thanks in advance.

too bad, even my post did not correctly render the vietnamese font as it appeared on my screen. This is frustrating! If anyone has experience working in a foreign text with any of the coffee cup apps I'd love to hear from you.
Unfortunately, VSD doesn't support unicode, but you can use entities, just like the page you pointed to.
So instead of unicode Vietnamese, you would insert this:
Xin đọc cẩm nang chỉ dẫn trước.
However, you will need to use the html tool to enter the text this way, and you'll need additional html code around the text to control the font size, color, family, etc.
This tool will convert your text from unicode to entities:

This technique will also work with CC's HTML Editor.

Cary,
This site worked great for the Chinses characters I needed.
Thanks a million.
