Thanks Jo Ann and Gunsmoke! Dually noted and I will implement these changes as you are completely right! Sometimes you look at something for so long and you just don't see it when its right in front of you lol...

Nicely done Steve. Can I get your thoughts on the idea of the Facebook and Twitter logos issue, what do you use?

In some cases maybe, but most sites I see are pretty basic ones with VSD, I've only seen a few that I would call extremely well done sites, this would be one of them :)

I agree as well Jo Ann there's very few sites I've seen with VSD that look half decent, but Steve's managed.

Thanks guys, if you look at my portfolio about 80% of my websites are designed with VSD.

http://www.misterwebguy.com/portfolio.html

I used to hand code all my websites using notepad. When I discovered VSD my design time was cut dramatically. I use a lot of custom coding on my VSD sites and work with Photoshop Elements to create my graphics.

Anything that can cut down my production time only benefits my clients.

This is why I am so excited about Responsive Site Designer!!!

The completion of the website is still a few weeks away (waiting for better weather to take some usable photos), but I thought I would post now for any comments from the brethren. The site is for a local marina business owner who is unhappy with his current designer. He asked for some changes to his current site and was told that they would cost him $1500-$2000. He's already paying $140.00/month for hosting charges. Enter me. I had done business with them (owning a boat is no picnic) as a client. The owner called and asked if I could design a new site and logo. I submitted a few ideas and was hired. The general layout is complete and all pages have been created, however very few of the photos will be in the final version. I included pictures just to give the client an idea of what could be accomplished. So please disregard the photos, but evaluate everything else. If something seems screwy, let me know. Once the site is completed, I'll need to transfer to his new domain name, but will still host with my account on coffeecup. Thanks for any input.

The site looks good. I think that large opening paragraph is to big. I didn't want to read it because it was going to take to long to get the info from it. Maybe remove the address from the top since you already have it at the bottom. Move the map link or make it more apparent.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
