Hi,

Can anyone help me with this problem?:

Using VSD I create a text box allowing advanced text, my text color is Orange. I create a mouseOver image using the same text and changing the text color of the mouseOver to white. Everything looks good on my work space but when I preview or upload the created website, the mouseOver text color has changed to a duller shade of Orange, or a duller shade of red. I thought maybe the program was doing some kind of hybrid of the two colors. I then created a text box with advanced text, text color Orange, created a mouseOver using the same text and same text color. Still the same thing happens. The mouseOver text color looks horrible, it's nothing like what's on my work space.

Lastly, I've created a shape for a button text, just a simple square. I click the "button text" tab, enter my text and select my text color. Everything looks good, but when I preview or publish, the text color on the button has been dulled, and looks nothing like the original color I selected.

Can anyone please help me with this? Just trying to make good looking mouseOver on text with good color change.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hi There,
I'm not sure if you'd like to change all of your link colours or just a select few.

I wanted to have all of my links green and I wanted them to turn orange on mouseover so this is what I did.

I created my links in green using by clicking:
-->settings --> standard settings for new pages
and selecting my colours.

Then I used this webpage:
http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000075.htm

To create the following html and I put it into my headerI put the following into my header: (ie. -->edit-->edit header)

<style type="text/css">
<!--
A:hover{COLOR: #FBB117; TEXT-DECORATION: none; font-weight: none}
-->
</style>

To find the right colour code (ie. #FBB117) I checked out this page:
http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm

You can see how this works on my website www.bumpybuns.com.au

I'm not too certain why your colours are different in VSD to what they are online though.

I hope this helps :0)
