Hi Guys

I cannot for the life of me get a connection to test out properly with my host Lunar Pages. I have succesfully used the entries in Filezilla and can connect. But not in VSD 5.91

2. Operating System you are using: XP SP2 all updates installed
3. Program name Visual Site Designer 5.91
4. registered version
6. Specific steps hav taken : Tested on two PC's from two totally different locations and ISP's
7. Does it occur every time: Yes
8. Can you recreate this on another computer: Yes

Additionally, while trying to create a working connection , I have saved muliple profiles. About every third time it deletes all of them on one of the computers as if they were never save. And yes I've tried checking and unchecking "passive" in advanced prefs. Port is 21

We have recently noticed that some of our customers have had some trouble uploading with the new version of Visual Site Designer, Our developers have looked into this and have found the source of the problem, and they are working to very hard to correct it. Until they do we have created a temporary fix, you will need to first make sure that Visual Site Designer is closed, then download the zip file at ( http://www.perezcreations.com/vsd_ftp_fix.zip ), extract the zip file, then run the "Registration.dat" file and simply click OK twice to install the two necessary files.

Hi Scott Tried this and still .....no joy.

I had to do it manually but I did get dll installation success confirmations.

I am running the 5.92 test version.

This is dumb but I didn't restart after the installations . I'll try that. If it works I'l be right back to you . If it doesn't, please help!!!

Duh...... a restart got the connection to test out fine.

Now to try the syncing!!!!
