Hello,

I am using the new Menu Builder with VSD. When I create sub-menus how do I get them to display on top of the web content? I already have the html object all the forward and the web content back.

Here is the link select teams to see the problem.

Also what is the easiest way to update the html object on all pages when I make a change to the menu?

Enable "Advance text" on your text boxes.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

That was easy. Thanks

How about question #2? I am assuming an iframe?

Also what is the easiest way to update the html object on all pages when I make a change to the menu?

I think other VSD users have suggested turning text into Advanced Text in this situation then sending it to back of page and making sure the menu is set to front of page.

If you don't want to convert the text to an image (which is what Advanced Text does), you could delete the menu, save, then re-insert the menu in so it will be the last (highest z-index) object on the page.

#2 - If your menu is displayed in an Iframe you only have one menu to update rather than one for each page.

<ul id="submenu_menu_2" class="flyout submenu_menu_2 submenus" ">

Just noticed the above... try taking out the extra " (right before the >).

Pardon my ignorance here.

So when I use an iframe all of the pages try to load in the iframe when clicking on the menu items.

Also those double quotes are being created by menu builder

HELP !!!!!!
Sort of same problem, well in my ignorance i think it is
Taken my original 3 year old website, removed my home made menu buttons and replaced with NEW CC menu builder
therefore the last thing to be added to the 68 pages is the menu
I have set menu using ARRANGE so it only has black options for forward or front (so i guess its at the front)
On the home page (fighting with first) i also have sent everything else to the back

my banner which is a gif file is blocking in front of submenu buttons from SERVICES

text at bottom of page is blocking in front of submenues from QUESTIONS and ABOUT ME buttons

Trial test home page only http://www.deloreanjewellery.co.uk/test1/

My live site temporarily has a different button style to keep it useable, but it looks dreadful

Well, VSD isn't my thing, but you should be able to change the stacking order. Send the banner to 'back', and also the text that is messing with the last couple of buttons. You might need to use advanced text. For what it's worth...
