Flash Problems with VSD

Hi -

I am building an adult-oriented affiliate site using VSD. The location of the site is: http://TheSexualIntellectual.net .

Please note that while certain pages of this site are safe, many of them are NOT SAFE FOR WORK (or around kids).

I spent a long time placing several Flash banners on my site. The advertisers included, along with their HTML code, each .swf file for each banner.

- I downloaded and added each .swf file as I did each banner;

- After downloading the .swf file, I copied the code and placed it on my site where I wanted it;

- Everything worked until I published the site this morning.

Now there are just big white rectangles or squares where the banners and ads were. I don't know what I did wrong. They all worked on my computer.

Also, I am not allowed to modify the banners or ads in any way, shape, or form, or I risk losing my affiliate account with the advertisers I have chosen. Thus I am precluded from rebuilding the banners in another program.

I know there is a way this can work ... please help.

The pages I have the problems on are:

http://thesexualintellectual.net/SexVideos.html

http://thesexualintellectual.net/DVDs&Porn.html

http://thesexualintellectual.net/DatingSites.html

http://thesexualintellectual.net/SexVideos.html

Thank you in advance for your help fixing this problem and saving what little hair I have left. :) Jade

Hi -

Well, I added the .swf files to the website, and then I uploaded everything. When it didn't work, I uploaded everything again. I am not 100% sure how to make sure they were actually uploaded, but I do know that I downloaded each .swf file and then manually added them thru the VSD Settings - Add Files menu. And it showed them being added to the site, and the banners did not work on my computer until I added the .swf files to the site.

It's making me crazy!

Thank you so much for replying to me. I appreciate it.

I looked , and maybe i am blind or in wrong spot myself, but I tried typing in the swf names and nothing shows. could you maybe use another ftp to verify that they are on your server. which btw who are you hosting with?
I see the banners are there and they are not showing, sometimes spaces arent allowed on some servers as well, could try sticking to one word names. You could also try using Filezilla to upload all your files.
choose from the files folder on down for uploading.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla
I'm sure the more experienced will be along shortly to help.

Hi -

Thank you again. I have only ftp'd once and I can't remember how I did it *blush*. I know, I'm dense.

I host with Angel Communications.

When you mention the spaces not being allowed sometimes, would that be in what I have named the banners or ... ?

Thanks!
