I know Scott offered up a Beta version of VSD7 earlier in the week. Would love if those of you have checked it out could 'weigh in' with your experiences with it. Did it solve your issues? Create new ones? Inquiring minds want to know. : )

I had an issue with links to the files in the "download", but other than that, I am happy with the changes. You can try v7 and if you don't like it, go back to v6. when you install v7, it makes a backup of your website for you, so all you'd have to do is uninstall v7, install v6, and you're back where you started.

V7 is a great improvement on 6 HOWEVER I would NOT upgrade at present if you do not need to

The shifting text problem, really is a pain and they don't yet know how its going to be dealt with as it was an intentional feature, that just is not working the way its been planned yet

I am not comfortable sending out the latest beta just yet to the public as we have a few issues we still want to wrap up first. I will contact you next week when I have something that you can use.

Hi Scott, just read that you guys are taking a decent break for the festive season, enjoy, you have had a busy year.

One question though, will the VSD7 update mentioned in your post above be released before you guys shut up shop?

Enjoy your break.

Dont dump all the last minute fixes on that lonely programmer who wants to get home for the holidays. Give him/her a break also and not slam it in.... What is worse: two week delay or 200 complaints about not fully testing and messing up someone's web site.....

I vote for no rushing and do it right the first time......
