I know, it's a topic on everyone list, but I see throughout these threads the same question being asked and the same answer being given, that "yes, it can be done".

But I've been told that while it can be done, the only browser it will work in is IE? Can someone PLEASE clarify this as I'm working on a website now that could really do with a drop down menu, but it hasn't got one because of the whole "will only work in the one browser" scenario. I check all my sites in IE, Firefox, and Chrome to ensure they are working properly, and I can't afford to build a site that only works completely in one type of browser.

The CSS menu works in all browsers except IE 6.
