The site is:
http://www.mscivilwar.com/

You can tell that it all needs to be tightened up, but in VSD it's about as tight as I can get it without things overlapping.
Thanks!

To me it looks like you hit the return key several times at the end of the links. Try making your text boxes just a little wider.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hey Don,

You may also want to try using Websafe Fonts as I have encountered this issue sometime too. My problems were reduced significantly when I made the switch.

I wish I could show you a full screen shot of my VSD screen, it's all like it should be.

I think I have hammered on this enough. I think maybe it's time to just scratch those three
white boxes and start over. It won't take but a couple of minutes to do that.

Thanks!

Something is still not right. I just revised and moved all that stuff around to close the gaps, saved it, published it...all twice....and heck I can't tell one iota of difference in the on line web site. I checked to be sure I had the right publishing destination, and double checked every thing I knew to check.

It's looking better. Try ctrl + f5.

Yea looks better here too. You may want to consider making your links opening into a new window. People may not know how to get back to your site once they have been taken out.

To do this insert this into your a href code

target="_blank"

Thanks Steve. I meant to do that on all of them but just didn't. Now that I'm reconstructing the page I'll rework that too.

I checked it again...still not right. In the three white boxes there is no room at the bottom of any of them in VSD. In the first box on the left I took out some text, and pushed it all in closer. In VSD there is no gap, other than one line space, between the first text box and the second. There is not much, if any, white at the bottom. In the second white box in the middle, there is no white room at the bottom in VSD. The web site shows a lot of white at the bottom. Same for the third box.

In my VSD screen it's all put together with appropriate spacing. Maybe a line space to separate where needed is all the gaps there are. I could try to take a screen shot and email it to you.

Thanks!

Can you take a screen shot of your vsd project and share? You can just attach it to your post here.
