You need to upload the files to your site as they are provided by animation studio. If you get them in the proper location the links I posted will work.
In VSD go to the add files and select and folder and name it js.
Now click on this new folder and select add files.
Now browse to the files on your pc and then publish.
Your files are located in the root of your site not in a folder named js.

Hi
It appears that my last post never made it ... lost in space I guess ... I will try again.
I rebuilt the index page from scratch, using the information that I obtained from the forum ... the result was the same. I have attached two files: (1) the folder structure showing the files created by the program and (2) the code generated by Animation Studio. I would greatly appreciate it if you could examine the information and provide me with some insight as to where I am going wrong.
P.S. ... I saw an error message this time ... I tried to send PDF files instead of JPG or TXT files.

You still don't have the file uploaded to the proper location.
Where it should be.

Here is where it's at.

Hey David, let's take this from here ...

Load your website in VSD.
Click on Edit/Add Files from the top menu.

You should see a directory structure of files on your web site.
Is there a folder that says js ?
If there is, double click and open it. Is there a file in there that says imageRotate.js
There should be.
Look in the ROOT and see if the file is there? It probably is since that is where it is at on your web site. It needs to be in the js folder. There is a trick to moving it. You can leave it there if you want to. Won't hurt a thing. But it also NEEDS to be in the js folder.

If there is no js folder: highlight ROOT and click the first green + on the folder at the bottom to ADD A FOLDER. Name it js

If there is already a folder called js: highlight it and click the second green + that says ADD FILES. Navigate to where the file imageRotate.js is on your hard drive and double click to add it. Do the same for any other .js file you need. They have to be in this folder. Make sure to click ok, then save your web site. Then re-publish. Your slideshow should work.

I carried out your instructions ... I created a js folder and added the following files imageRotate.js and ieTimerFix.js. The result was the creation of a small box with an 'x' in the middle when I previewed the project ... no sign of the slideshow. I also noticed that when I ran the html file created by Animation Studio (Slideshow(W).html), Windows Explorer ran the slideshow without a problem ... I also published the modified project. Please note that I am very grateful for your help ... I just wish that I could resolve the situation without making a nuisance of myself!!

As far as I can tell, js/imageRotate.js is located in the root ... where else could it be?!? Please note that I have attached a image of he file structure. If the files are not where they should be, can you tell me how to re-locate them. Thank you for any assistance that you can offer.

Don't know any other way to show you this David.

The first pic shows an attempt to display your js file in the js directory. Notice the red outline in the address box.
The file is NOT FOUND. This is where the file should be.

The second photo shows an attempt to display your js file in the ROOT directory.
This IS NOT where it should be, but it is FOUND!

You need to move those .js files to the /js directory for your slideshow to work. If that is where they are in VSD then your site is not updating. You need to delete the site from S-Drive, clear your browser cache, re-boot your computer ( this is an extreme really ) then reload VSD and upload your site to S-Drive. Check that the js file is in the /js directory by typing the same address in that I have in those photos. If it's not in the /js direcotry then something is wrong.

I have decided to give up on Visual Site Designer and research the internet for a website designer that I can use as an alternative. It is obvious that something is wrong with Visual I have discovered that Animation Studio works fine without Visual Site Designer. Unfortunately, I have invested too much in CoffeeCup programs (I currently own 18 CoffeeCup components) so I will have to find some means of using what I have. Incidentally I was able to use three of the components in Dreamweaver with no problem. They preformed very well, with no issues at all. However, I do not wish to continue to use Dreamweaver as it is both complicated and clumsy to use. Thank you again for your efforts on my behalf ... they were appreciated very much. My apologies for taking so much of your time in a lost cause.
