The horizontal layout options control how this specific layout will function when embedded into a webpage. Horizontal themes are different form vertical layouts as they are embedded into existing pages and vertical ones are typically linked to. To customize these options, click the Designer Toolbar Icon and then select Horizontal Layout in the upper left-hand corner. This will then enable the Horizontal Layout Options on the right hand side.
- Responsive Action: by default, all horizontal themes are setup to be fully responsive. This means the sitemap will display differently depending on the device used to access your website (tablet, mobile phone, desktop) etc. We provide 2 variations of how this works. You can have the sitemap collapse down to an according style menu or you can have the sitemap stay in column format looking exactly like the Live Preview.
- Level 1 & 2 Pages: this setting allows you define what levels you want to appear in your sitemap. Level 1 is the folders off the root folder of your website, e.g. http://www.coffeecup.com/store and Level 2 folders are the pages found inside of those folders, e.g. http://www.coffeecup.com/store/books
- Max Level 1 Items and Max Level 2 Items: these settings go with the Level 1 & 2 Pages setting above. Here you can define how many of these you would like to include. The minimum is 1 and the maximum is 100. Who needs more than that right? ;)
