Backing up your database

To back up your .clb file, personal settings, and the program itself, go to File > Backup Lockbox Database. This opens a window that allows you to save your everything to a location on your computer or to an external drive, such as a thumb drive or external hard drive. This method allows you to open and run LockBox normally from the new location.

Exporting your data to other formats

To export your LockBox information as a .csv, plain text, or Shared LockBox file, go to File > Export. This opens a window prompting you to choose which information to export and where you’d like to save it. This method backs up your information in a format that cannot be opened with LockBox, which comes in handy if LockBox malfunctions for any reason.
