Have you ever wondered how people add those awesome Facebook "Like" buttons to their website layouts?

When added to your page, these buttons can truly enhance the layout of your page and the exposure that your website receives by giving visitors the ability to "Like" the topic, page, or object you have placed the button by so that the message can be spread about how great the chosen object is through social network!

The following steps will help you get going:

  1. First, you will need to visit the following link to use the Developer's tool that will create your Like button.

http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/

  1. Next, you will need to enter the URL of the page that you will be adding your Like button to. You will enter that in the field labeled URL to Like.
  1. Once you have entered in the correct URL for your page, you can then configure the rest of the settings available such as Width, Layout Style, Color Scheme, and Font in order to customize your Like button to its utmost potential. We're almost there! :D
  2. You can now click Get Code to receive a window similar to the following window displaying your customized code. Of the two codes that appear, you will want to copy the iframe code. This is what you will use to make your Like button show!

If using Visual Site Designer, complete these steps:

  1. To finish the process, open Visual Site Designer to the page which you were wanting to update with the Like button. Then, use the Add HTML tool found on the left hand toolbar to click on your page where you want the Like button to appear and you can paste in the iframe code that was provided.
  2. Once you have completed the above steps, you can click Publish to apply your changes to your site! Awesome!

Note: You will not see this in preview. It will only appear once you publish.

If using the HTML Editor, complete these steps:

  1. To finish the process, open the HTML Editor and paste the provided iframe code within your page where you want the button to appear.
  2. You can now Upload your file to your page and the Like button will properly display. Enjoy!

Note: You will not see this in preview. It will only appear once you publish.

If using Shopping Cart Creator, complete these steps:
