The reference that Scott makes to the hdb file is in a support ticket not a forum attachment.:) You can't attach those kind of files do to security risks.

Hiya Andrew,

As mentioned above in other previous posts, you're best off to open a Support Ticket with CoffeeCup with this issue.

To do so go to the top menu of the page, Mouse over the Support button, and choose Your Support Room and open a ticket from there. Good luck and please return to the forum here and let us know if it got fixed and if so how they had you fix it. That will help future people like yourself when searching. Most appreciated that you did search also :)

I talked with Andrew yesterday and this was not a software issue. The problem was the setup was all wrong. Once we corrected that, it worked perfectly.

When I setup a profile, it locks down the whole sight and I also get the same error. The solution in the thread was never shared, therefore it needs to be addressed again.

Off line answers are not helping the thread. Anyone know how to detail the solution, that would be great. Thanks for your efforts.

Reason is, the software works great. But if something is setup incorrectly then changes will have to be made and you don't want everyone here (we are just users and don't work for CoffeeCup) having access to your server and knowing your particular setup.

Simply go to the top menu and select 'Support' then 'Your Support Room' and open a ticket with CoffeeCup. I'm sure they will be able to sort out whatever problem you are having.

Hi Lawrence,
There's nothing wrong with the application only how the application is being used. What you've done is applied the htacess to the root of your site thus blocking access. Go back and carefully click the directories in the server list on the left one at a time and see which users on the right have a check by their name. It's easy to make mistakes with such a powerful program.:)

Hi, after using WAM for some time on a site, the site got scrambled and a 500 Internal Server Error appeared.
It turned out to be the way the server saw the .htaccess file. When the .htaccess file was renamed to .htaccessOLD, back the site came.
This however means that WAM is no longer functional.
Any ideas on how to get around this?
The site is hosted by 1and1.
Steve.

Did you or your host change your .htaccess file?
