I didn't quite follow your different alternatives, but the 'Upon reflection' one sounds like the redirect, I think. ;)
You would not be able to sound like the 'certain other person' unless you wrote in a hardly understandable language asking how to make a form ;)

Hahaha Inger I am now thinking that to have the home-made page displayed instead of the default conformation page is the way to go

I am not a coder (way way too long ago did) I can work things out,, but never ever done re-direct I have googled it but it's like speaking to me in double-dutch,, not sure how to start or do it (is it the re-direct 301 thingy I keep reading about)

The easiest way I know is to place this in the head of the page you want to redirect from:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL='http://other-website.com'" />

Thanks Inger but it's not another web-site I want to re-direct to its another page on the same web-site

On the site is a "contact us" page,, on that page is a link that opens the form in a modal window (all that works fine)

Once the form is completed and they fire it off,, I would prefer that instead of opening the default conformation page from CC form builder) -- it opens my home made confirmation page (which is probably difficult to do as I believe the default conformation page is actual on my S-Drive,, therefore that's the one that opens

Try this in the .htaccess file:
Redirect 301 /old-page.html /path-to-new-page.html

I think the problem here is that the default confirmation.html page is hosted on my CC forms S-Drive,, so that's where the page comes from,, so no matter what re-direct is put in ,, it probably wont work

Could be wrong

Does the newest version of Form Builder not have Confirm Options under Settings? The older version did and one of the options is Redirect to another URL. I have three forms on our website and each one directs to a different confirmation web page.
