In the From field I have the email field name in square brackets and it works as expected.

However, I would like to do something like [Name] [Email] so I can get an email address in the
"name" <user@site.com> format.

[Name] [Email] throws an error and I not sure if it just needs tweaking, or if any usage of [Name] is going to fail due to WFB can't parse anything except an email address.

Any workarounds?

Hi Moe,

You have to pay attention to what you called the text field. Look in the Name field and see what its called. By default i think it just does text1, text2 ...etc. Therefore you would have to add [text1] [text2]

I didn't make that mistake.

I'm not using the Label text as I edited the Name property and that is what i do for all my elements.

Ok so when i select Notifications, then select no template edit from code, you will see a "Insert data from" dropdown box. Position the cursor where you want the data to go then select it from the dropdown. See if that works for you.

Please reread my original post. It is the From field in the email settings - nothing to do with the email template.
