Uploading files created in Web Editor for Mac

I think I have an understanding of Web Editor for Mac. I can use files and images from anywhere on my hard drive, and Web Editor "gathers" them together into a "project". But, in the HTML, the path to the particular image is the path on the hard drive, not what it will be on the web server. And how on earth do I package everything together to upload it to my web server?

Example: in the Web Editor, the link to an image is "../../Documents/2013/updated/restore.jpg". This is not the link I want when I upload the files to my web site.

In Adobe InDesign, I can place images and files from all over my hard drive into the main document -- but I can also "package" the document and all the linked files into a single folder. How do I do that in Web Editor?

When you upload, that same structure will be preserved. If that is not how you want things to appear, you will need to reorganize your directory structure locally first before uploading.

Thanks. But that means the selling-point of "Files can be anywhere on your system and still be part of several projects at once. Web Editor keeps them organized without making you clone them or move them around." is not an advantage at all, if one still has to find them and package them all up in order to upload to a server.
