Yes you definitely needs a FTP feature very soon. I do all my work remotely like many I hate having saved files on my computer so I love the FTP feature and to be able to hit command S and then reload the web page. The way I would have to do it now is try to write the file and then upload it via FTP and then look at it. Plus the framework that I'm using that was made by a friend of mine is very difficult to use without remote access. It put PHP inside HTML kind of like Smarty Template Framework but more advanced. Thanks guys for your work.

After working with the program for a while, one thing that bugs me is when I navigate with the preview window. As there are no navigation buttons, I have to use the ones in the main window, which puts the preview window behind the main window (the program itself) and I have to do more clicking to go back to the preview window.

Unless I miss something, as I just began the evaluation of the program...

OK, after using it for a while, I started to use the browser instead of the preview window to test the links inside the web page I am working on locally.

I wish to have direct upload of file to site and direct edit of an online page. people normally want things in one thing. pls do that if u want to compete with coda like software.

this would be the most awesome update EVER: homesite used to have a feature where if you right clicked an href element in the code, it would bring up a menu of properties for that link/image. within that, i could chose to "update image" so that you could manually modify the properties (for instance, if you had referenced an image 5 minutes ago and found the image was too large, went and modified it in an image editor, and saved it as the same filename, it would automatically update the height and width for you). you have no idea how INCREDIBLY handy that was!! I have found that instead, i've resorted to not putting in a height and width at all if it changes, which i dislike doing.

using the app to update my first file now! looking good!

Maybe I missed this in some of the posts (tried to look at all of them), but I was wondering if there's any plans for the following:
Select text and then have a key command that allows you to wrap a basic tag (such as a paragraph) around it -- much like TextMate
Select multiple lines of text and then wrap each line with an LI element (other text editors have this option as well -- usually an shift+command+option+p (some something similar). A great time saving way to wrap list elements in tags.
Allow snippets to have tab keys ... if you type a word, hit tab, then a tag or snippet woudl appear.

Having the Tags-Snippets-Helpers menus locked into the left pane of the main window (just like in the PC Windows version), would be a great improvement.

The possibility to open the program with the screens the way you like, would be great too.

Agree with others that an FTP built in would be very helpfull. As would be the right click to open elements.

Need to have some sort of clear indicator that the file you're currently on needs yet to be saved. i can't tell anywhere so i just have to keep saving "just in case", before i ftp the files. am i missing something?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
