I'd like to have a forum program with several themes and colored text,
with a options to add create chatrooms, animated emoticons for chat and forum, capable adding moderators, membership & guest login options, photo section where moderators can edit, add or delete photos.

I'am currently useing another companies website to use there forum software but I prefer to have my own coffeecup forum program to use on my own website.

Thank you , Gregory

I would like to second the above suggestion. You have Blogging, Chat and Photo Gallery software, so the only thing missing is a the Forum Software.

The biggest problem that I have with the 3rd party forum software, as much as I love to support Open Source projects, is the difficulty to integrate software like phpBB to my existing site.

Actually, I haven't leveraged the blogging software from Coffee Cup yet, but have been thinking of doing so. The only thing I don't like about the "blogging software" is the inability to upload create a post online (need to have client side software to upload).

So currently I have a Wordpress blog and I'm using Vanilla for my forum software. However, they both have different look and feel then my main site and each requires its own login.

Having the ability to have a "single login" support and the same custom look/feel to my site on even the "community" aspects of my site would be outstanding.

I know that I can accomplish some of this integration by using a CMS like Joomla!, Drupal or a paid CMS like Expression Engine, but then I have to learn how to customize the templates of this software.

So, yes, please create a forum software that we can customize easily to integrate with our current look and feel.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to overcome some of the above issues I identified, feel free to respond here. I'd love to hear what others have done to their sites. In fact, I'd love to see it in action, so if you provide links to your sites, that would be outstanding.

I agree with you Nelson, a CC forum would marry nicely into a CC website.
I am using a free forum package but as you say, the need to log-in separately, the different look and feel of the forum all looks and feels out of place.
To have a forum that matches say the CC shopping cart would be great.
Some say it can't be done, while others are doing it.

Yeah! I would love to purchase a coffee cup product that creates a web forum that matches my websites. Maybe one is in the making? :)

This is the second thread for CC Forum software, will someone from CC let us know if and when this might "hit the streets"? :D

We do have something in the works as we speak, but I can't comment on it just yet. ;)

I don't understand why I posted about purchasing or having CC develope our own CC forums and chat program, back in Dec 12, 2008 and it's Jan. 2010 and we're just now hearing a reply from CC.

I think it should had been developed by now.

CC customers could of had there own facebooks operating if CC would develope it for us to purchase back in 2008 or after.

Well give it more thought I guess Hahahaha! :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
