Wayan, no worries. You're absolutely wonderful.

I'm attempting a 3 level dropdown. Logo text left, menu right on medium-horizontal. Hamburger on the right for small screens. Following the tutorials I've discovered, it's not working out the way I'm envisioning.
I didn't mean to confuse you with the addition of the svg coloring on the menu. I'll add a link to what I'm trying to describe and failing at. I've not uploaded the current design yet. Still trying to get it to function even minutely before I do. Might help if I just bite the bullet and load it up.
I am planning 5 top level (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
2nd level will have 2 dropdowns at present.
3rd level will be only one dropdown of 2 text links I hope.
It's almost 1 am here, little sleep and I may just be overcomplicating the description.
1- Mission
2- About -- [Bio] [FAQ] [Testimonies]
3- Offering -- [Events] [Weddings] [Consulting] {Events= Private, Corporate} {Weddings= Custom design, Officiating, Renewals}
4- Gifts
5- Connect

I found this video that explains at least the creation of the code for the color portion of what I'm wanting to eventually add to the dropdown. (that confusing custom code I was throwing into the mix) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViOwQO2vJxg&t=81s

I should have asked before about which framework you are using

Whatever one the tutorial is in. I think Foundation 6. I think I also tried the one with the S in the corner, mobile first. Sorry that I don't recall. I haven't tried in the bootstrap or the mosaic.

I think it must be the foundation framework, I don't know which tutorial you are referring to.

It's the only nested menu from CC that I've found. It is in their guide. Anywho, doesn't matter. I'll be starting over again today to see just what it is that I am missing.
I looked at the example you posted. I'm thinking that I will try to examine in Chrome's developer Inspect to try and see if I can understand a little better.

I do appreciate your willingness to help, your expertise, and just your good heart. Thank you.

Hi Kirsty
I have made an example of a menu you might like, at the moment I haven't set up your page on my site but it will be today, I will first make a live view for you to look at then if you think it's suitable we can proceed with some how to do it tutorials.
You will need to email me so I can give you the log in info for your page. My email details are in the signature below.
I will look at your example in a while, I just got home from on of my regular checkups as the hospital which is a long way,
Hang in there help is on the way.

Ok I have had a look
My version is a little different (and the link content is not quite the same as the list you did before but that's not a big issue. Have you decided on the wave thingy?
I will be putting a Live version of an example up shortly.

Here is a link to a live view of an example of a multi-level dropdown menu.

https://alphathemes.coffeecup.com/index.html

colours and styling of course are your choices, my tutorial videos show the 'how to'
although it may look a bit more complex than the one from the one from CoffeeCup tutorials it's not that much different.

I could also take a look at the one you have made and see if I can tweak it a bit for the colour thingy when selected but you would need to send me the project file.

Hey Wayan. I hope you're doing better. Sorry that you had such a long drive.

I've been in Houston all day so missed out on this. I'll get to looking shortly. But please, rest. You're health is much more important.

Hugs
Kitty
