This is for my never-ending new site project
I didn't want to go live with it because big chunks of the site aren't done yet.
I started my new responsive site over 2 years ago, but keep having to put it off to work on paying clients' stuff $$$.
In the mean time, I've reworked the layout several times as my responsive experience builds. Just got back to it this week and thought I'd deal with the Stream issue.

Paintbrush, how are those css files linked? If they are both linked to the html document, the last one rules. Maybe change the order of the css files? I'm only guessing here, as I haven't seen the site.

I guess the JS snippet for the Stream pulls in the CSS (from SDrive) for it, so I don't know how to make the site's CSS over-ride it.
I even thought of pasting my menu's CSS into the Stream CSS, but I don't know what else it might effect.
I've got a new webhost for the new site, I'll check it out, see if I can put this up there behind a password.
So close...Got to figure it out now! :D
Thanks everyone :)

Paisley, I checked your link to see if you got things figured out, but I don't see a blog/stream anywhere???

I'm having FTP issues, so can't provide a link yet. :(

Hmm I wonder if the reason I didn't have any issues with it is because I didn't use just the code that S-Drive gives to put on the page, I actually iframed it in. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but I didn't see any issues at all with the overriding of code on the site I was making. That would be the cat site in my sig if you want to take a look at the code I used there.

You might also want to open a support ticket to see if the team can help decipher what to do there because well... what's the point of giving us the option to put it in our sites if it's going to mess it up right? I'm sure that's not their intentions :)

I used the Iframe method on my old site and it works fine, but that's a fixed-width site. On a responsive site, the Iframe's scroll (necessary on longer posts) is one problem.
In most cases, if your mobile browser does not support iframes, the included element just won’t be shown

And if it does show up, it's a pita on a tiny screen.
Also, it can't have a fixed height and width. With no height specified, it doesn't show up at all.

With CC getting into responsive design, I would hope they'd do something about the Stream ASAP.

Well, that's interesting.
So where would the 'child' JS go? Does it get added into the Stream code snippet?
I'm so close to having it work on my page as is. Only the menu is being effected by it.
I'll try uploading the site again, see if I can send a link.
