Scott,
Not seeing anything that relates to storage.
I am just seeing "Streams"

The tabs I see are Stream: Site:Shop:Settings

Sounds exciting.
I love the S-Drive concept.

Give it a try now Simeon. ;)

This is interesting :D
Can we store things that we don't want to put in a Stream? Is it like Dropbox – put files in it then access them from any computer? Can we use this to share files with clients, rather than having private web pages?

More storage + easy access = GOOD DEAL! :)

You sure can! All the files are still housed on S-Drive, so you access them there. With Direct FTP you can also upload files and folders that way and then link to them for your clients.

If there's anyone else around here like me you may need to expand this to include a special "Hoarder's Plan"!
I'll be putting this to use – Thanks, Scott & everyone else who came up with this ;)

:D This is really nice. I just tested sending a link to an image. So much better than putting it in an email (not everybody I know is good about checking their email) or uploading it to a page on my website – and once again, sending an email with instructions on how to find it.

Another question; If one deletes Stream images from Storage, will they be deleted from the Stream as well, or just the Storage area?

The image will stay inside of the Storage folder until you delete it.

Well, you asked in a e-mailto take a look at s-drive storage BETA. I've looked and:
It looks nice, the theme is editable (even in hardcode!) BUT, i tried to upload a file and got a message of some sort that this file wasn't good. No real explanation why. Further i would like a better "help" function online to explain what to do (or not). Like how to get something on the site WITHOUT visual site designer (i'm past that already).
But overall, like the initiativ, like the looks, maybe i'll use it. :D

You you go back to the upload area, you will see a link just below the "Choose File" button that says "
Supported Extensions". If you click that, it will tell you what file extensions are allowed through the web interface.
