Bob, when I worked at Sierra, Back to the Beach and Vivendi what they did for the moderators was give them the software they made... what I was thinking was since Wayan, and Inger (especially, among others) help out so much on this forum maybe you could do that for them?
Might be a nice little gesture of appreciation since they do so much for the users here?

I agree since they do so much to help us that would be a nice gesture.

With out a doubt Yes 100% agree ERIC and others who do so much to help deserve the gesture also.

Definitely agree - Wayan has been known to be up all night working for others, me included. This would be a gesture that I am sure many will see as a token of appreciation for a 'job well-done'
To all 'helpers' a huge 'thank-you' from me and I hope Bob sees the value in this.

What about us who always use the help of Inger and Wayan? Is not it just us saying "thank you" with a small gesture?
And I thought that it is typically German, that always other things regulate.

Hey Guys & Gals
STOP IT,, you are making my ego swell so much I have to turn sideways to go through doors :D

Seriously it is my absolute pleasure to help people who need help (caveat: but they must have tried helping themselves first ~ no time for those who just try it on)
For those of you who know a little bit about my previous life you understand what & why I do what I do

I don't know if this is the place for this reply so it may get moved.
I want to tell you a little story:
When I was a young man (thousands of years ago) I used to help my first wife in her school with the sport & art lessons. One of the children (shall remain anonymous) had a great interest & passion for cricket, I saw the potential and concentrated my efforts with him, he was a great student, and learned quickly, practiced every day. Eventually as a young man himself he was chosen to play for our county cricket team, which gave me a great boost, he eventually even went on to play for England a few times, which gave me an even bigger boost (not that it was my doing, he did all that himself). He had to retire early from competition cricket due to injury, but he took up coaching the youth team and became a well respected coach.
One day I received an invitation to a bit of a do organised by the county cricket team to honor his contribution to cricket both as a player and a coach. At the dinner and during the various speeches, to my shock & horror he invited me to the stage, whereupon he announced to everyone that I was the man who taught him to play cricket,, not only that he added that I was also the man who taught him to teach. I was asked to say a few words, where-upon, I called my wife to stand up and announced to everyone that she was the one who taught me to teach, never was she more embarrased, & I copped for a real telling off when we got home, but I didn't car I was still up there with the angels.

Well I can tell you that moment at the dinner was one of the top highlights of my long & eventful life.

To read what you are all saying also gives me that buzz & I can tell you again, this is up there with the cricketer as being a highlight of my life, to read your words & gratitude is enough reward for me so THANK YOU ALL and long may we continue to support & help each other.

Take care all

I also enjoy helping others so I can keep my skills tuned. Web design has changed a lot and it will change even more in the near future. I hope to be here until my last breathe helping others. Thanks for all the thoughts and praise.
