Structured Data in RSD with MicroData
I was just checking with build 2425 and it has itemscope, itemtype, itemprop, itemref and itemid in ATTRIBUTES
The problem is itemscope is written itemscope="" but I think it still validates?
If you do the example below and test it here it passes:
https://search.google.com/structured-da … -tool/u/0/
What you do is view source and copy all the main container with <div class="container" itemscope=" (etc) down to that closing </div>
Paste that in as a CODE SNIPPET
So you add a conatiner div and add the ATTRIBUTE itemscope
then add the ATTRIBUTE itemtype and for it's value put in the url http://schema.org/LocalBusiness
Now add an h1 into the container with My Business and add the ATTRIBUTE itemprop with the value name to it
To get past the image error in the test it's a bit tricky
You have to add another container in that container
Then add the ATTRIBUTE itemprop with the value image
add the ATTRIBUTE itemscope
then add the ATTRIBUTE itemtype and for it's value put in the url http://schema.org/ImageObject
Put an image inside that second container and to it
add the ATTRIBUTE itemprop with the value url
now you have to use a custom ATTRIBUTE and put in content and for it's value use https://google.com/thumbnail1.jpg
(you change that link later to your image, this is just for the test)
I personally use JSON-LD markup but that's how you can do it with MicroData...
Still other stuff is needed like address etc. but there is a way to pull this off in RSD
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
