The RSD product page still details RSD2. See: https://www.coffeecup.com/designer/
I'll admit, I haven't really been paying attention. I updated and walked away. Now I'm using the software, but I'm a little lost.
Is it still in Beta or something? Are there any tutorials? How do I select framework? Is there a point by point overview - RSD2 vs RSD3?
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
I think the biggest difference is that pre-made rows and columns are now left behind, and CSS Grid Layout is supported, with the ability to fall back to pre-CSS Grid Layout for the very few browsers not yet supporting it. It also has a Structured Data facility.
Unless one has already experimented with CSS Grid Layout in CSS Grid Builder, there is a lot of fun learning to be done. It's therefore well worthwhile looking at the CSS Grid Builder forum, and the various videos for that as well. The Site Designer User Guide, accessible via the Help menu in the program, is a useful place to start.
It would probably take many pages to make a full comparison between RSD 2.x and Site Designer V3, and probably not be worthwhile. I'm still learning Site Designer V3, and I think a number of other contributors to these forums are in the same boat.

You can goto the help menu at the top of SD3 and there will be some resources there for you. Also please check out their Youtube channel
