I recently needed to upgrade my site. When I started working on it I realized there was a software upgrade so I downloaded the new version not realizing how different it was. Long story short it totally messed up my site, so I decided I would make manually changes to my site online. However, I am having some problems with formatting that I can't seem to resolve.
I have a picture that I want my heading on top off but it is displayed below it. I also have a menu that doesn't stay in the same spot on each page of my website and I can't seem to change the color of my footer. Also I have lost my home icon in the upper right
I can't upload the .rsd file because I have made the changes manually way beyond that, but I will upload the .css and page files in hopes that someone can help. I have a couple more pages if needed but I think if these get fixed it will fix the rest.
It won't let me upload the files

Hi Penny,
There are steps in updating a site from RSD to SD. Even then you will probably still have some fixes to do.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Forget that I found it and isn't going to be of any help.
The Help You Need: When You Need It The Most
My opinion
start again from scratch in either RSD or SD, you have most of the content already so it shouldn't be a huge task, maybe will be quicker than messing about with the code outside of CC apps

the website is jrichplants.com
the availability page is password protected
username: plant
password: wackos
I have a lot invested in this to start over seems drastic, it is so close to what I want. The sad thing is all I wanted to do was change the header picture, update the menu style and change the color scheme from last year.

I have done something in SDv3.5 from scratch just as an example, to show that it is going to be much easier to do it from scratch

Wayan that is beautiful however I am not a designer I am a perennial grower. I only dabble in website design in the winter so that our small company is self sufficient. We are entering Spring which is our busy season and my time is very limited.
I have more trouble with the program be inconsistent from page to page and what seems like it should take minutes ends up taking hours. The program lags and hangs and doesn't write half of my changes to the file so that when I think I have what I want I preview it and it is totally messed up. That's why I abandoned the program and went manual I seem to grasp that better.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
