I was using Flickr from a link on a site that the client could upload and maintain themselves. Was working great till recently Flickr now makes you download an app to view from mobile devices. My client does not want to make its seniors do that. Google photos "wants" you to use the app also etc. I haven't found a service that does this. Flickr fit the bill till this policy change.

Thought about Surreal (I haven't tried it yet but others here have spoken highly of it). But there are no Photo gallery widgets to use within the site. Despise Wordpress (and don't really know it) but need some of that functionality right now. Is it practical to create a folder - install wordpress in just that folder then create just a gallery? Is there a better way? I had thought about creating a wordpress site with a generic name then having individual pages - tiled for the specific client that are galleries from sites and linking to these individual pages. This site would not have any navigation so each page would be free standing within itself. (Hope all of that is clear) - - what a pain!

Anybody have an alternative?

Thanks

Byron
