I just finished my website in site designer, and uploaded it. No pictures, so i hit this forum and did some research. I took out spaces as suggested in one post in the file names. I then replaced all files with my ftp (coffee cup). Still no pictures. So i did some more research, and deleted the *.* extension and added the .* extension in the ftp client. swapped all files again. Still no pictures displaying. I checked another browser, also no pictures. When i look at the source files in the website, my images are prefaced with ./images/image.jpg, so I even added the images folder into the root folder of my hosting, but still no images. Even the social media icon is replaced with a placeholder. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

From what I can see You haven't linked the images to the images in your resources file

(actually you have linked a couple but then not the others !! that's strange

on your portfolio page you have, on your services page you haven't

on your About page, you have linked 1 image to your images (you cuddling someone) but not the other images?

also in your project file, you haven't linked any of the menu links to your pages

You should do all you image/menu-links/social icon links WITHIN your project file, then once all in & working (check using "preview on" ) then export the project file & ftp it

Hi Wayan,

Thank you for your help. I placed the picture element in the rsd file, then went into the elements section, and updated the picture using the local image folder, and uploaded all images into the images folder in my resources. Here is a screen shot of what i see. I exported everything afterwards like you suggested, and pointed all links beforehand as well. The links work on my live site, even to Facebook, so I am not sure what is missing.

Thank you again for looking at this for me.

Walter

I did use the preview on function, and just checked it again, and all images are showing up correctly for me, not sure if this helps or not.

Thanks,

Walter

Your capture image is showing one of some very few images that you actually have linked to the pages. Your .rsd file that you shared earlier is showing lots of grey placeholder pics instead of your images. I don't know, of course, if you have corrected that. You have a lot of images in the 'resources' folder, but that pages won't 'know' by themselves which one to pick in each case.

If all the images are showing up correctly on "Preview On"
Export your project file again & ftp it again

How about letting us see the latest project file,, the one you sent earlier has very few images, some are in the root of your project folder, some are in the "images folder"

The screenshot you took shows the large image at the top of the page, which has been linked to the images in the root of the project folder
