Chrome mobile compatibility

I am still having issues with displaying my site on chrome mobile. Somehow chrome mobile (Android) does not seem to understand vh correctly. My elements on the page stack up to 100 vh and are displayed accordingly on other browsers but not on chrome mobile.
Also, modal windows with position:fixed don't anchor at the viewport top but on the top edge of the parent element.
That can be seen either clicking on "Aviso legal" in the footer or clicking on any image in the member section and opening the associated modal.

Any ideas how to resolve this? I searched the web and found that there are issues on chrome mobile with vh and fixed position, but I could not find a solution.
