Hi Wayan,
Could you send me the project file where you nested the 5 containers? I cannot get it done and apparently even Bob cannot get more than 1 container below the subgrid column.

I am very puzzled about this and it is very important for my page layout.

Thanks!!

Might you be willing to share this as a component? I'd like to mess with it.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Beastro
Yes I have used horizontal tab
no need replace anything
have a look at this

I don't know if its something like you want,, & I haven't done any transition smoothing, so its a bit jumpy[/quote]

I can nest 4 containers — I am pretty sure Wayan uses a different nesting structure here in combination with the subgrid creating the same result. You mind sharing the .rsd file Wayan?

I looked at the code, he is only using 1 container in the subgrid column for the flex card. His structure is:

container (tabs-content) >> container ( tabs-panel) >> subgrid >> row >> column >> container (flex-card).

In the flex card container he uses an image and a link.

Counting the extent of nesting will depend on what one calls a container. I suspect that those who claim very deep nesting with RSD alone are counting divs rather than what are listed as containers in the Elements section.

My test on how deep I could get within RSD is here. RSD puts the content of an HTML Element inside a div, and so one can use the HTML Element as a container. I have not put a div inside the HTML Element as it wouldn't work as a div which could contain anything, and therefore wouldn't be a container.

Is it possible genuinely to go deeper than in my test?

Thanks for the replies!
He uses one more container beneath flex-card, which is div .card-image. It could also be div .card-divider. It is precisely that container level that I am unable to put inside the parent flex-card container.

Strangely enough, I could add a list container, link container, form container, but no ordinary div container.

OK. I think I found something. Using "Tabs column" component rather than "Tabs container", I am able to add the other container.
But it does not make sense. They both use the identical structure. There must be some glitch in the component.

Hi everybody
sory for late replies to this thread, I am Back in Bali, having spent 28 hours getting here, first a 5 kilometer walk through, the forest (road washed out due to heavy rain/landslides) , ten motorbike taxi out , then car taxi to airport, the flights cancelled due to the weather, so another taxi to Surabaya (6 hours) flight to Bali then Taxi home.

It is early morning here now, I will play catch-up and then look at putting it out as a component. Can't understand why so many people having trouble, it was so basic & easy..

Hi Wayan,

Sorry to hear about your troubles!
I think I solved it now. It was definately the component. I changed to the vertical tabs component and flexed them into horizontal. Now all is fine and it works as it should:

Whenever you have time, can you confirm which of the 2 tab components you used?

Best regards and thanks to everybody!
