Hey guys, I followed through and made a menu, however I was wondering where I could access the padding for the text, because it appears that all of my text is sticking to the bottom of the menu bar.. please help!

Thx Eric :) .. I looked at my menu and didn't need the extra padding.. I don't know what's wrong because I haven't written any CSS code to limit the size of the menu.. heres what the menu's look like paired from the Menu Builder Program, and my website..

In the menu builder you don't actually 'write' css. There are settings right in the programme, which Eric pointed to. You may experiment a bit with the padding above and below the text, maybe also the line height.

Your above picture, the first one, was that in the preview after you had got the menu looking like your second pic, or was it after you inserted it into a site? And a couple of obvious questions: Did you re-save and re-export the menu after you got the look you wanted? Did you clear your cache?

That style.css is the issue.
#menuBuilder #nav ul li.menu_items {
background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
background-image: none;
background-position: 0 0;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
border-color: #FF0000;
padding-bottom: 0;
width: 15%;
}

First of all thank you Inger and Eric for continuing to help me :) . Now the problem is within style.css, i'll mess around with it and see what I come up with, looks like you narrowed it down though, I suppose it will either be with the padding or width %, so i'll load it up now..

Eric, that code isn't within the style.css, must be in menu builder somewhere, i'll narrow it out and try and fix it, but isn't that something that should be coded into the program Menu Builder? I didn't add padding, it looked fine the way it was.

Sorry about that grabbed the wrong thing. This seems to be the problem. style.css
span {
color: #008000;
font-size: 0.6em;
height: 1em;
}
