Maximize your design screen in the menu builder and see what happens.
I can't see your slider arrow in the screen shot. You must have a break point beyond the viewable screen to the right.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Screenshot attached below is of the maximised window. Please note that I had simplified the menu in the previous screenshot, to avoid the wrapping of the final menu item "Foods". This appears to the right of the dropped submenu becuase of the limits of the Menu Builder screen - I don't know how to hide the 'Elements' pane on the right.

Now were getting somewhere.;)
Run your slider arrow just to the right of the break point circle.:)

Hmm! I have no idea what the slider and button are for, but they certainly have an effect!
As soon as the slider passes to the right of the circle, the styles drop back to the original, instead of my changed styles - see attached.
What does this mean?

OK, OK, I get it - at least you didn't tell me to 'RTFM' !
So, I now see that chapter 7 of the manual tells me all about breakers and sliders, BUT...
Having spent hours learning how to redesign my menu, with the slider to the left of the one breaker, HOW do I make this design work at ALL widths?? At the moment, even if I add new breakers to the left, it seems that as soon as I delete the right-most breaker, the whole design reverts to the original. I face the unpleasant prospect of having to manually rebuild all my style changes for the full-width menu ... grrr!
Thanks for your patience.

Is you site going to be responsive?

Well, it isn't at the moment, but now that I see Menu Builder allows me to do that, I will start to incorporate responsiveness - if I can get my head around the implications for all my 1000 pages, up to 6 years old!
I can see that it is relatively easy to copy style settings for each menu element, by moving the slider either side of the breaker, and I am halfway through doing that now.
Many thanks for your pointing me in the right direction.
My only suggestion to CoffeeCup is that adding pop-up hints (optional?) to the various tools, sliders and breakers would help to direct lazy novices like me!
Unless there's anything else to add, I am happy to mark this as resolved.

Wise words, Eric! My 66 years should have taught me the same :/
Bye.
