Saving modified stylesheets

Hi, I just bought and installed Menu Builder, and downloaded the CoffeeCup menu design to start modifying it. It took a few attempts before the 'Save' function worked properly (by the way, that 'Save' menu item should be marked 'Ctrl+S' not 'Ctrl+C' as you have at the moment).
Adding elements was no problem, but I then altered the styles of menus, submenus and an individual submenu button - fonts, borders, padding, etc. These changes look fine in Menu Builder, and the .mb file closes and re-opens correctly, but when I export it and compose a simple HTML page as instructed, none of my style changes are applied.
I have tested that the stylesheet 'style.css' is being correctly addressed by the html file, and I can see that my modifications are present towards the end of the css file. What seems to be wrong is that something higher up in the css file is overriding my settings - but I am not expert enough to be able to read the css coding, to figure out what's blocking my styles.
Any guidance, please?
I attach the style.css file. An example of my changes is at line 522, in which I made 'menu_1_sub_2' different from all the rest. (I have not yet uploaded the set to the server, but can do so if it will help.)
Thanks for your help,
Graham.

Do you have any other style sheet links on your page?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric,
No, there is only the menu (see attached txt copy of the html test file). It's just a CoffeeCup new page with the Menu Builder head and body texts pasted in.
And if I disable the stylesheet by renaming it, the menu reverts to a plain text html page, so I know it's connecting to the stylesheet correctly.
Graham.

Make sure you are exporting the files to the same location.

Hi,
You'll see from Test2.html that all the files referenced in the 'head' section are in a folder called 'MFJ_coffeecup_style2/', and this is a sub-folder of the one where test2.html lives, i.e.:
test2.html
- MFJ_coffeecup_style2/
- images/
- js/
- stylesheets/
The only Menu Builder file that is updated when I make a change is style.css, and I know that this is being referenced because if I remove it, then test2.html displays only a plain text version of the menu.
That's why I guess the error is in the stylesheet - unless one of the .js files references some other default stylesheet - is that possible? (I'm not really technical enough to decipher the js files.)
Thanks for your persistence.
Graham.

That didn't display as I intended. I mean the folder structure to look like:
test2.html
------ MFJ_coffeecup_style2/
------------ images/
------------ js/
------------ stylesheets/

Try a crtl + f5 just for giggles.

Eric,
No, it's nothing like that. I've even gone as far as shutting down and re-booting, but no luck!
The problem simply is that my modified styles are correctly displayed in MenuBuilder, but are not effective when my test2.html reads the stylesheet.css file - it reverts to the styles originally present in the CoffeeCup menu example that I started from.

The system won't let me attach my .mb file to this message, so here's a screenshot of my Menu Builder file attached (Menu Builder screenshot.gif). What displays there is exactly what I intend.
I have just uploaded the set to a test page so you can see what's wrong:

Thanks
Graham.

Maximize your design screen in the menu builder and see what happens.

no, the stylesheets are just 'as generated' by menu builder.
