When I set menu buttons to use auto for button width, they all squish to the left. Is there a way to make them go to the right instead?

Hi Tim,
Set their margin and or padding.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks for the reply Eric. Can you be a little more specific? Setting a right or left margin or padding for the menu buttons can add extra space, but doesn't actually make them right-aligned within the menu.

I think you need to set it on the ul, not on the li.

In Menu Builder, it doesn't show me the tags, so I have to guess a little bit. Do you mean that the alignment is set for the Menu rather than the Menu Buttons? I don't see an option there for the alignment (http://screencast.com/t/43N2858QBJ).

If that's not what you mean, could you let me know where to find the alignment for the ul?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can right-align the ul within the programme. You have a couple of options:

1. Edit the css for the ul after export (you will have to re-edit it after every new export...)
2. Use the margin, as Eric suggested. See my screenshot. Play around with the left margin until you have the desired look. You may have to use a series of breakpoints and adjust the %-age a couple of times until you go for the collapsed vertical menu suitable for small screens.
3. If you are using RSD or RLM you can limit the width of the menu and pop it into a right column. You need to reduce the width of the nav to fit into the column you want to use.
