Hi, I'm quite a newbie in programming HTML and yet not so... :D BUT, I really would like to construct a 'quick-menu' which should be 'floating' sort of on my website.

Can I use the HTML-editor for that or should I use another program... or what? And what files are to be loaded on my default page (I'm thinking of .css and .js etc)

Some suggestions?

The html editor can be used to build a menu but the float around feature your talking about is probably a responsive menu that your looking for. That would best be handled with the new CC Menu builder. Can you clarify the float feature?:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Yes, I've experimentet to build a menu with HTML editor, but I want a 'floating quick-menu' and by that I mean, the menu should be visible all the time (at the right side of the screen), even when scrolling down, the menu would follow with.

And by quick, I mean that the menu should consist of (own designed) icons for each html-page, so by clicking you can acces the desired page or document immediately.

It's a feature, and yes there could be some safety issues as some browsers don't allow this kind of scripts...

This float postioning should be able to be achieved through straight css. It would be called fixed postioning.
Here's a simple example
CSS
div.floating-nav {position:fixed;}

Html
<div class="floating-nav">
<a href="http://coffeecup.com/"><img src="fixednav/coffeecup.png" /></a>
</div>

You can then start tweaking the CSS by adding
bottom: 0px;
or
top:0px
left, right are also available to control the actual position.
0 will be kept to bottom, top, left, or right based on css tag. Adjust the number to control postion.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Ok tnx, that makes sense and I'll work with that! Is there a way to build the menu in CC HTML-editor (or CC Menu-builder), for then applying the 'floating'-code afterwards?

You will place all your css navigation html code inside the div.

Eric, you should have thought of this...
