Disappointed with updates (or lack...

So I think this is pretty cool software - but without a development team updating it, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed to date.

Aside from all the suggestions, there are two main problems with this software:

1) No target attribute for menu items (ie. "_blank")
2) Only 1 submenu supported

For me, this makes the software unusable in a production website. I took advantage of the discounted promotion CoffeeCup was offering for this, and now I'm wondering if this software will be improved upon or dropped from further development.

Almost 2 months with no update - no news - no nothing.

You should check your account download area. There was an update Nov. 1;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Well, there is a topic http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/menu-builder/menu-builder-change-logs/
But it hasn't been updated. I posted a quick note in the support section to see if someone was going to update it. I'll let you know what I hear back

Thanks - I downloaded the new release - but I don't see what has changed, so I'm assuming it was bug fixes, etc...

The two issues I noted above appear to still be outstanding...

They are. If you go to the Store, and select Menu Builder. It lists what features are available, and what they are going to add (someday) and what they are just thinking about.

I agree with Dave. Especially the two main points he made (_blank and sub, sub, sub menus.) When the menu builder came out and with all the positive comments many of the regulars were making here, I was anticipating happily replacing the menu I was using (from a 3rd party) with the CC menu in the pure html5 site I am building. Quickly found out that was not going to happen anytime soon. Maybe I'll be able to use it with a different site some day in the future.

I hope Menu Builder is not headed in the same direction of little to no improvement as has happened with the Shopping Cart products.

This topic has been brought up many times. We here in the forum are users just like you. We have no say in what happens or doesn't happen. There is a topic where you can post ideas for improvements or features you would like to have. But before you beat this to death you should punch up the store and read what is in store for the program. They already have sub-submenus and other things on the burner to be added. If you want to know 'when' then open a support topic because no one here really knows any more than you do. ( Sorry if I sound like I'm ranting...:P )

On the topic of updating the Menu Builder (and other) update topics, Scott says small tweaks and 'fixes' in the program won't be posted. But any major change, or new feature and the topic will be updated. So keep an eye on it...

Thank you Gunsmoke, I'm well aware of your points.
