Hmmm, yes I just checked and my phone is 750 px wide. So I upped the breakpoint to 800 px. No difference. Still showing the same. Good catch, though! (I had the breakpoint much less earlier today when I thought MB could only go to 900 px wide...and it worked then, on my phone....strange)

Do not base break points on any screen size. Break points are exactly as stated. The width of the window when the page looks wrong. Add them where ever needed to keep your page organized. Even though you could have any amount of break points, try to keep designs practices in mind that keep them to a min.

Ok, but why is my phone not showing me the mobile drop down button that I made in MB?

Also, any way to get text to go on the next line on one button? I have one button that has much more text than any of the others so then the buttons have to be big because of the one button that's longer....OR....all the text has to be much smaller to fit on the button.

Maybe change the "Violin/Viola Lessons" button to just read "Lessons". Then use the Violin/Viola Lessons line in your header, either above or below your phone number. If you do this, you might want to decrease the size of your social icons.

I thought of that (sure would make life easier!), but unfortunately we do more than just teach, so putting that in our header wouldn't work either. Argh.

Why not make the button title "Lessons" and then 2 sub menu's "Violn" & "Viola"

Wayan,

Great idea. I had a client that wanted a button for everything on his site. When I showed him how bad it looked he decided having some of his menu buttons have sub menus and it was a ton better looking.

I did think of sub menus too. The only problem with that particular button is that Violin and Viola lessons both would go to the same page. There's no separate page for violin lessons and another for viola lessons. But maybe I can have a "Studio" or "Teaching" button and then have submenus for "violin/viola lessons" and "Pioneer Valley Strings" (which I don't yet have a button for, but is already a page on the site). Hmmmm....

It is possible also to link a button to a special paragraph on a page. So on the page with the viola and violin lessons you could link each button to the corresponding paragraph.
Or you could split up the page in two...
