I'm a newby to CoffeeCup editor. It's great software, but this dynamic tab length should not be a default, and shouldn't be so hard to disable. I found Gunsmoke's tab page before googling. My tabs are set to 4. (Probably a default but I could have changed it.) Yet my tabs are still variable. Seems to be adjusting to the previous word. I've even tried entering Tab Columns: 4 8 12 etc. no change.

Any ideas?

My tabs are set at 2 and I think that I am fine. I have a question also

Is there a way to set when you hit enter that it will not take you back all the way to the left side, and keep you on the same tab that your working on? It's hard for me to try and explain this way, but say your indented 5 tabs and open up a new <div> then you need to tab over 5 more times just to close the <div>. It is quite bothersome to have to keep doing.

John, did you ever get that figured out? I was curious on how to prevent it from ignoring my tab after autocomplete, as it puts the completed code far-left flush, without a tab. I have to then go back and tab everything over, which is really helpful for longer CSS files.

Suggestions? I'm still fairly new to CoffeeCup and I'm also a coding student (re-entering the field after many years of being away), but I really love how its setup.
