Problems with FTP and file transfer -...

I just purchased the HTML Editor yesterday, and I'm trying to get it set up with my already-existing site. I entered all the necessary information in the website project settings and set the ftp information. In the "Server Configuration - Edit" window, I hit the "test settings" button, and it reports everything as connecting properly.

I then made a change to one of my files and used the "F4" option to upload it, and it seemed to do so successfully, but looking online at my site, I do not see the change. This is the first and most significant problem.

The second issue is that if I click on the tab for my site (not local - online), it shows the files and subdirectories correctly, but if I click on a subdirectory (e.g. articles) to see what's underneath it, it says "141: FTP protocol error: 550 public/articles: No such file or directory." Yet it shows that that subdirectory does exist in the first place.

Any ideas on what's going wrong or what I am doing wrong?

Hi C Bord,
First issue try Ctl + f5 in your browser window to do a hard refresh of your page.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)
This is a site I built for use in my job.(HTML Editor)
This is my personal site used for testing and as an easy way to share photos.(RLM imported to RSD)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
