I purchased the HTML editor on 1/25/2016 and have a similar problem. Code completion simply doesn't work, despite checking the tools preferences boxes. How can I get a new download of my paid version?

I must be ovewrlooking "auto complete " surely ikt's in a highly obvious place

The two relevant check boxes regarding this are at the top right of Tools > Preferences > General.

You can turn on autocomplete in your editor settings. Under “Editor Options”, check the “Autocomplete” check box. When autocomplete is enabled this way, you'll see autocomplete suggestions as you type in the HTML, CSS, and JS panels of the editor.
