Hello all,
I am in the process of actually switching over my RSD 1.5 site to RFF (stand alone), what I also want to do is change the menu that was created using CC-Menu Builder which is really a great ap and we do like but time for change.
Okay I am working with the component Top-Bar w/ animation and have no problem adding it to a page. Now I was able to change color and have 6 Buttons List Item Links that I want to add a Sub link with about 7 links on 2 of the buttons one being called Products. Since this component does not have that do I add the Nested link???. I tried doing the tutorial for nesting but when I get to adding the Nesting links I cannot get it to work. In the mean time I am keeping the MB one which I wish CC would reconsider and keep it :) Any help at all as always is appreciated.
Thank you,
Ray

Take a look at the file I attached here:
https://www.coffeecup.com/forums/respon … post277958

It was made in RSD (foundation) and can easily be recreated in RFF. It's probably not the right number of menu items or submenus for your needs, but otherwise, is it something you could use? (I plan on adding it to my sharing site, but haven't got that far yet.)

Thank you Inger I appreciate your help I will download and look at it. Just got a thought it may be made with RSD 2.5 if so will have to use other computer as the main one is still RSD 1.5 as I did not want to lose that one.

It was made with RSD latest version. I hope it's not a problem.

You need 6 buttons and two of them should have 7 sub items? Which two?

I have RSD 2.5 on our other computet so I should be able to open it and look at it.

The Products has the 7 and Occasions actually has 11 BUT once I know how to add at least one I can figure the rest out good practice to learn something new. I do not expect you to do all the work Inger just point in right direction you have enough of your own work to do.

Try this one. You will have to add the necessary number of dropdowns yourself. The menu items can be switched around, and of course renamed to fit your purpose, I just made up something.

Other than making the font size for the various menu levels a bit different in size, I haven't done any styling. The items can also be centered, you do that with flex.

I'd suggest that you save this as a theme in RFF, and then select the whole row for creating a component. That way you can use it for several sites.

Good luck!

I'm actually not quite as busy as I was before Christmas. I was able to finish a fairly large site and can now play around a bit with other things at the moment. I've even got some time for a bit of knitting! ;)
